La Onda Q en el electrocardiograma no sólo nos indica Necrosis o Infarto. He aquí algunas de las causas de onda Q o q en el trazado electrocardiográfico, diferentes al infarto:
1. Por lesión miocárdica o infiltración: puede ser por procesos agudos o crónicos. Agudos: miocarditis, hiperpotasemia. Crónicos: amiloidosis, tumores cardiacos, sarcoidosis, miocardiopatías idiopáticas.
2. Crecimiento ventricular: hipertrofia ventricular derecha, hipertrofia ventricular izquierda, miocardiopatía hipertrófica.
3. Trastornos de la conducción: bloqueo de rama izquierda, síndrome de Wolf-Parkinson-White (wpw).
4. Fisiológicas o posicionales: variante normal, dextrocardia, desviación del mediastino.
De ahora en adelante, antes de informar un electrocardiograma como "infarto antiguo" o "necrosis" ten en cuenta estos diagnósticos. Hasta la próxima!
